Description

The obverse: in the centre the emblem of the Bank of Russia [the two-headed eagle with wings down, under it the semicircular inscription " " (BANK OF RUSSIA)] framed by a circle of dots and inscriptions along the rim on top: " " (TWENTY FIVE RUBLES), below: to the left indications of the precious metal and its fineness, in the centre the year of issue "2013 ." (2013), to the right the fine metal content and the mint trade mark.

The reverse: in the centre on the mirror field of the disc the ensemble of the Alexander Nevsky Lavra with Saint Trinity Cathedral in the front of it, below the emblem of the Lavra: an angel holding in his hands the oval disc with the depiction of two crossed staves, to the both sides of the emblem fragments of vegetable ornament. Above over the Lavra the image of the patron saint of the Lavra and Saint Petersburg the most Orthodox Prince Saint Alexander Nevsky, over it the semicircular inscription along the rim: "- - " (SAINT TRINITY ALEXANDER NEVSKY LAVRA).
